The Florida Commission on Offender Review (formerly the Parole Commission) conducts Parole Hearings in various parts of the state. This Hearing was held in Jacksonville Beach, Florida where 3 parole-eligible inmates were given the grace of Parole. Those offenders have shown themselves to be free of disciplinary issues, have participated in a multiplicity of programs designed to change criminal thinking and have successfully completed the Re-entry program at Everglades C. I. They have been accepted at an approved residential facility where they will receive job placement and be given opportunity to master independent living skills having been imprisoned for decades.

Forgotten Majority continues to vie for the reinstatement of Parole for those who were sentenced post 1995 and have shown themselves not to be a threat but an asset to the free society. Parole should be the light at the end of the tunnel that inspires hope for offenders and their families.
